The Scholarship was established to financially assist and recognise excellent students in fields of study relevant to the building industry.
Unitec Vocational Pathway Scholarship
The Vocational Pathway Scholarships were established in 2019 to assist school leavers who complete at least one vocational pathway programme at Unitec and then choose to commence study at Unitec in a certificate, diploma or degree level programme. The scholarship is designed to help cover education related costs and provide an opportunity to connect to various induction and mentoring opportunities.

Unitec Kura Kaupapa and Rumaki Reo Scholarship
The Unitec Kura Kaupapa and Rumaki Reo Scholarships were established in 2019 to support and engage Kura Kaupapa and Rumaki Reo graduates into tertiary studies at Unitec.
Diverse Gender Scholarship
The Diverse Gender Scholarship encourages and support diverse gender students to pursue tertiary education at Unitec.
Woods Glass NZ Construction Scholarship
The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide financial support to a high achieving learner studying Construction Management, Construction Economics, Quantity Surveying or Architecture Studies, who is motivated to pursue a career in the construction industry and make a positive difference in society.
Flame Stoppers Māori & Pasifika Quantity Surveyor Excellence Scholarship
This scholarship provides financial support and mentoring to high achieving Māori and Pasifika students during the second and third years of their Bachelor of Construction (Quantity Surveying major).
International Pathways Award

Zonta Club of Auckland Scholarships
The Zonta Club of Auckland offers financial support each year to female tertiary students who reside in Auckland.
Rider Levett Bucknall Professional Quantity Surveyor of the Year Scholarship
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial support and an opportunity for a Bachelor of Construction with a major in Construction Economics student in their second or third year of study (or fourth year if studying part-time) to gain part-time work experience and potential full-time experience during all non-term times. This may continue for future years of study and upon graduation RLB may also make an offer of full-time employment.
Students completing their course in 2025 and graduating in early 2026 will also be considered.
Kate Edger Tressa Thomas Retraining Award
The Kate Edger Foundation has various Scholarships worth $2,000 for undergraduate students. The Tressa Thomas Retraining Awards help to encourage mature women aged 25 years and above to study and return to a profession or take up work (Paid or unpaid) in the community.
The Tressa Thomas Retraining awards can help pay for course fees, childcare, transport – whatever you need to make studies possible.

The purpose of the Archiland Scholarship is to provide financial support to a high achieving learner in a Building and Construction or Architecture related Level 6 and above programme, who is motivated to pursue a career in the industry and ensure outcomes that benefit Aotearoa’s communities in socially impactful ways.
Unitec Pacific Success Scholarships
The Unitec Pacific Success Scholarships were established in 2017 to encourage Pacific students to pursue tertiary education at Unitec. The Pacific Success Scholarship Recipients are expected to be involved and participate in the Unitec Pacific Community.
