How Student Central can help

Our Student Central (Te Pae Kōrero) team can help you with everything, from programme enquiries and enrolments, to orientation and graduation. We can also help connect you to a wide range of Student Support Services available at Unitec.

We can help with:

  • Enrolling at Unitec, including course credits, credit recognition and completing application tasks
  • Certifying your documents
  • Re-enrolling and changing enrolment
  • Paying your fees (cashier)
  • Requesting your Academic Record (Transcript) and Grades
  • Getting your Student ID
  • Lodging an appeal or making a complaint
  • Filling out student forms

You can talk to us in person at Student Central on Mt Albert or Waitākere campus.

You can drop in during our opening hours – you don’t need an appointment, but you may have to wait in the lounge area if we are helping other students before you.

Mt Albert Ask Me Desk

The helpdesk is located at the heart of the Te Puna Library (Building 180). The staff at Ask Me may be able to assist you with some enquiries when Student Central is closed. Please visit the Library website for its opening hours.

Paying your fees on campus

We have a cashier on campus, located within Student Central.

The cashiers are not available at all times Student Central is open, so please see our cashier hours to check when they are available.

You can pay our cashier your tuition fees and any other course-related fees, for example, cross credit fees, visa and insurance.

Payment types accepted in person are credit or debit cards (Visa or Mastercard) and EFTPOS. Unitec does not accept payment with cheques or cash. For more options to pay, see our Paying your fees page.
