The Electrotechnology Department of Unitec is an EWRB approved provider of Competence Programmes for practicing licences for EWRB registered people. This course is for those who wish to renew their practicing license. Topics covered in this short course include:

English Language Requirements for International Students
International Students are required by NZQA to demonstrate English Language competency by providing the minimum IELTS level as stated in the programme admission requirements.
Kate Edger Practicum Awards
To assist a woman to carry out study for a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree or Postgraduate Diploma with a required practicum component at an approved Institute in the Auckland area. The awards will be made for a year of study that requires a student to undertake a practicum which is usually unpaid and involves travel or residence away from home.
