GCSB Women in STEM Scholarship
The GCSB ( Government Communications Security Bureau )Women in STEM scholarship is aimed at second year tertiary students and above (including Honours and Masters) who are intending to take a full-time course of study in computer science, cyber security, technology, mathematics, computer engineering and/or data science at any New Zealand tertiary institution.
Māori & Pasifika Trades Training Scholarships
If you are of Māori and/or Pasifika descent, aged 16 – 40, and want to learn a trade or study the New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing, you could study free at Unitec.
Kate Edger Tressa Thomas Retraining Award
The Kate Edger Foundation has various Scholarships worth $2,000 for undergraduate students. The Tressa Thomas Retraining Awards help to encourage mature women aged 25 years and above to study and return to a profession or take up work (Paid or unpaid) in the community.
The Tressa Thomas Retraining awards can help pay for course fees, childcare, transport – whatever you need to make studies possible.

Kate Edger Foundation- Macandrew Award in Performing Arts
This award arises from a donation from the Titirangi and Blockhouse Bay Branch of the New Zealand Women’s Institute and is in memory of Mrs MacAndrew, a long-time member and benefactor of the Branch and a talented pianist. It is to assist a woman enrolled in the third year of the Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts at Unitec. The successful candidate must live in West Auckland.
Kate Edger Foundation - Women in Fine Arts Award in Memory of Carol Schofield
This award in memory of Carol Schofield is made possible by a generous sponsorship from her family and friends. Carol was an artist and picture framer who was closely involved in Auckland's art and gallery scene. The award is intended to provide financial assistance to a woman enrolled full-time in the third year or above of a Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or Design and Contemporary Art.
Kate Edger Master's Degree Awards
To assist women graduates to carry out full-time study for a Master’s Degree at an approved Institute in the Auckland area. The awards will be made for a year of study that includes either coursework and/or a research component.
Tulī Takes Flight Scholarships 2024
The purpose of the Tuli scholarship is to acknowledge the ongoing importance of education for Aotearoa Pacific families and communities. The scholarship is intended to support Pacific people to reach their potential by reducing some financial barriers to study or training. There are scholarships for vocational and degree-level study and training in Aotearoa.

Kate Edger Foundation - NZ Contemporary Art Award
The Award is available for a student who will be enrolled in 2025 in the third year or above of a degree or post-graduate degree in an Arts-related area at a NZQA-accredited tertiary institute in the Auckland or Northland region.
Kate Edger Postgraduate Diploma Awards
To assist women graduates to undertake a Postgraduate Diploma full time at an approved Institute in the Auckland area.
Unitec Pacific Success Scholarships
The Unitec Pacific Success Scholarships were established in 2017 to encourage Pacific students to pursue tertiary education at Unitec. The Pacific Success Scholarship Recipients are expected to be involved and participate in the Unitec Pacific Community.
Prime Minister’s Scholarship
The Prime Minister's Scholarships for Asia (PMSA) and Latin America (PMSLA) are funded by the New Zealand Government and administered by Education New Zealand Manapou ki te Ao (ENZ). Since 2013, the Scholarships have enabled more than 2,400 New Zealanders to broaden their horizons through life-changing learning experiences in Asia and Latin America.

Te Pou Angitū were established in 2019 to encourage Māori students to pursue tertiary education at Unitec in either a Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor level programme.
Kate Edger Practicum Awards
To assist a woman to carry out study for a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree or Postgraduate Diploma with a required practicum component at an approved Institute in the Auckland area. The awards will be made for a year of study that requires a student to undertake a practicum which is usually unpaid and involves travel or residence away from home.

NERF’s mission is to promote excellence in nursing and midwifery healthcare by providing funding opportunities for education and research. They offer numerous scholarships and grants up to three times a year.
