Unitec Vocational Pathway Scholarship
The Vocational Pathway Scholarships were established in 2019 to assist school leavers who complete at least one vocational pathway programme at Unitec and then choose to commence study at Unitec in a certificate, diploma or degree level programme. The scholarship is designed to help cover education related costs and provide an opportunity to connect to various induction and mentoring opportunities.

Maia Māori Centre delivers a Māori Mentoring Scholarship programme based on a tuakana-tenia model. If you are enrolled in a full-time, full-year Unitec programme, you may be eligible for this scholarship, which is paid in instalments each term

The Unitec Pacific Success Scholarships were established in 2017 to encourage Pacific students to pursue tertiary education at Unitec. The Pacific Success Scholarship Recipients are expected to be involved and participate in the Unitec Pacific Community.
Unitec Pacific Progression Scholarships
The purpose of this scholarship, established in 2019, is to encourage Pacific students who have successfully completed their programme of study at Unitec, to continue their higher education in a new programme of study. Pacific Progression Scholarship Recipients are expected to be involved and participate in the Unitec Pacific Community.
The scholarship is open to domestic Pacific students across Unitec, in Level 3 to 8 programmes that take at least one semester of full-time study to complete.

Te Pou Angitū were established in 2019 to encourage Māori students to pursue tertiary education at Unitec in either a Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor level programme.
2024 Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Scholarships
Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Scholarships were established to encourage Māori students to pursue tertiary education at Unitec. Registered members of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei or Ngāti Whātua o Kaipara are invited to apply for this scholarship for study from a Level 3 Certificate through to a Masters Degree at Unitec.

The Te Pou Aupiki Karahipi were established in 2019 to encourage Māori students who successfully complete their programme of study to continue their tertiary education at Unitec.
