The Unitec Study Grant is available to current full-time students who are facing unexpected or additional costs that directly affect their ability to continue or complete their studies.

These Scholarships are available to support talented students enrolled in the Master of Architecture (Professional) at Unitec.

The Award is available for a student who will be enrolled in 2025 in the third year or above of a degree or post-graduate degree in an Arts-related area at a NZQA-accredited tertiary institute in the Auckland or Northland region. 

This award arises from a donation from the Titirangi and Blockhouse Bay Branch of the New Zealand Women’s Institute and is in memory of Mrs MacAndrew, a long-time member and benefactor of the Branch and a talented pianist.  It is to assist a woman enrolled in the third year of the Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts at Unitec.  The successful candidate must live in West Auckland.

Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Scholarships were established to encourage Māori students to pursue tertiary education at Unitec. Registered members of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei or Ngāti Whātua o Kaipara are invited to apply for this scholarship for study from a Level 3 Certificate through to a Masters Degree at Unitec.  

The Maynard Marks – Property and Building Consultants Excellence Scholarship was established in 2020 by Maynard Marks to encourage the next generation of property and building consultants.  Supporting emerging talent is key to ensuring the quality of our built environment continues to address and solve the challenges presented to the construction industry. The delivery of successful building projects is dependent on hard work, innovation, and best practice solutions. It also involves the successful collaboration of multiple disciplines. 

The Prime Minister's Scholarships for Asia (PMSA) and Latin America (PMSLA) are funded by the New Zealand Government and administered by Education New Zealand Manapou ki te Ao (ENZ). Since 2013, the Scholarships have enabled more than 2,400 New Zealanders to broaden their horizons through life-changing learning experiences in Asia and Latin America.   

Ngā Pou Mana have established yearly scholarships in collaboration with PHARMAC that are provided to kaimahi and/or tauira Māori who are in study, and/or those who have had a positive impact on their whānau, hapū, iwi or communities.

The Health Scholarship Programme supports Maori and Pacific residents of the Waitemata region (North Shore City, Waitakere City, and Rodney District) to undertake health-specific tertiary studies with an accredited New Zealand education provider.
