Unitec Pacific Progression Scholarships
The purpose of this scholarship, established in 2019, is to encourage Pacific students who have successfully completed their programme of study at Unitec, to continue their higher education in a new programme of study. Pacific Progression Scholarship Recipients are expected to be involved and participate in the Unitec Pacific Community.
The scholarship is open to domestic Pacific students across Unitec, in Level 3 to 8 programmes that take at least one semester of full-time study to complete.

Te Pou Angitū were established in 2019 to encourage Māori students to pursue tertiary education at Unitec in either a Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor level programme.
2024 Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Scholarships
Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Scholarships were established to encourage Māori students to pursue tertiary education at Unitec. Registered members of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei or Ngāti Whātua o Kaipara are invited to apply for this scholarship for study from a Level 3 Certificate through to a Masters Degree at Unitec.

The Sculpture on the Gulf pavilion was designed by Stephens Lawson Architects, but will be built by Unitec students from Architecture, Construction and Engineering. For some, the work will go towards course credits. For others, it’s a paid activity that will give students a chance to practice what they’ve learned in the classroom in the real world.
