Advanced Energy Technology Scholarship

Unitec and MIT are working in collaboration with a number of research organisations who are researching and developing the next generation of technology for high performance electric motors for the transport sector (aircraft, ships and trains).
The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide financial support and encourage all domestic students, particularly Māori, Pacific and women learners who have an interest in this specific sector of Engineering (Electrical and Mechanical). The scholarship aims to support students facing disadvantage and/or inequitable access to tertiary education which would otherwise present barriers to their pursuit of engineering studies.
