Cafes
There are a number of places to eat on the Mt Albert Campus where you can get your fill of hot and cold foods, snacks, refreshments or espresso coffee.
Staff who are based at Waitākere campus also have easy access to some great places to eat, with Waitākere campus located next to a major shopping area.
Childcare
We offer a range of excellent childcare facilities for both staff and students. We have the Unitec Early Learning Centre which caters for children up to the age of five on our Mt Albert campus. There are several quality childcare facilities near our Waitākere campus, a list of which can be obtained from Student Central at Waitākere.
Medical Centre
Our medical centre, Te Puna Waiora, is located on our Mt Albert campus and offers a wide range of health and wellness services for both staff and students. Osteopathy Clinic
The Osteopathic Clinic located in Building 41 (Mt Albert Campus) offers effective, affordable, professional and medication-free care for a wide range of conditions including general aches and pains, back pain and sports injuries. Master of Osteopathy students complete the treatments and are supervised by experienced members of the teaching staff.
Prayer Centre
There are a number of places around the Mt Albert Campus offering a quiet place to reflect, pray or meditate. These are Building 44 (behind Building 52), the Hortecology Sanctuary and the Muslim Salaat Hall (Building 158). There is also a Muslim Prayer room at our Waitākere campus (Building 510-3033).
