Aim: 
This course will build on manufacturing and materials knowledge and provide an introduction to manufacturing techniques, processes, and material technologies associated with a range of materials. Further to these, a focus on new ’smart’ materials, and future materials and processes will be undertaken. Students will also become familiar with design for manual assembly, automated assembly, and high/low volume production in relation to product design manufacture.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Creative Enterprise programme to enrol in this course.
