Aim: 
This course aims to investigate new and emerging materials and technologies that will facilitate or impact upon design and production processes. Technology-driven design and material development processes will provide a framework for evaluating and discussing the implications of various new and emerging materials and technologies on design innovation, society and environment. Emphasis will be placed on the relationship between technologies and materials and new design methodologies and outcomes. New design opportunities and innovative design practices that respond to emerging or advanced technologies will be explored in conjunction with analysis of the impact on manufacturing, society and environment.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Creative Enterprise programme to enrol in this course.
