Aim: 
To enable the student to investigate and apply systems of environmental resource management and sustainability
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Applied Technology programme to enrol in this course. Pre-requisites: APTE6103 and at least one Level 5 course in the area of specialisation. Restrictions: APPT6212 and APPT6112.
Topics include: 

Appropriate selection from following topics
Environmental Resource Management and Sustainability
Stakeholders and Drivers, Aims and Activities, Performance objectives, Environmental Management Systems,
Specifications (ISO 14001), Principles and methodology; Implementation and Audits.
Technology project
Use of research methods appropriate to this level, Project to promote a solution to a technological problem within chosen specialisation,
while demonstrating the interrelationship between the principles of sustainability and technology,
initial plan or design for project, development completion and testing of project as appropriate, technical report and oral presentation
