New WiFi Certificate Message

19/09/2017
IMS are currently resolving Wi-Fi issues across Unitec, as a result of this staff and students may be requested to accept an additional security certificate from Tuesday 19th September on the following networks:

  • eduroam
  • UNITEC-MANAGED
  • UNITEC-ELEARN

Depending on the device used to connect to these WiFi networks, a prompt may appear to accept/trust for uniadprdnps2.uniad.unitec.ac.nz.

Please accept/trust this certificate.

Email Phishing Scam

07/09/2017
Unitec has been the target of another email phishing scam.

The subject of this email is “Invoice.” and there is an attached pdf file called filedoc00837.pdf00977233.pdf.

If you have received a copy of this email, please DO NOT open the attachment. The recommended action is to delete the email before opening it. IMS has already put in place filters to prevent any further copies of this email being delivered to staff.
