With 110 million users worldwide, Office 365 Education is helping students to get the most out of their education while gaining valuable skills that will help them enter the future workforce.

Students can now download and run Office on up to five devices and Office Mobile for Android or Office Mobile for iPhone on their mobile devices.
All versions can be used in ‘offline’ mode.

Students enrolled only for ‘Short’ courses are not eligible for Office 365 software benefits.

All other Unitec students enrolled in courses are eligible for Office 365 personal use on their personal computers and up to 5 other multiple devices licensing.

As this is a Microsoft offer, you should seek support via the Office 365 Community option – i.e. ask questions on the online forums – Office 365 Support

The Unitec IT Help Desk cannot provide support for this product other than assisting with logging in.

Upon leaving all eligible courses or graduation from Unitec the Office 365 subscriptions end:

      • most students the licensing will become inactive 190 days after class end date- if there are no other active or current enrolments.
      • for Post-Grad. thesis students there is often a work requirement after end of formal classes, so the licensing will become inactive 220 days after class end date- if there are no other active or current enrolments.

Students wishing to continue using the MS Office suite independently should purchase or subscribe via other consumer or commercial business offers (often available through employer organisations).
