Students enrolled only for ‘Short’ courses are not eligible for Office 365 software benefits.
All other Unitec students enrolled in courses are eligible for Office 365 personal use on their personal computers and up to 5 other multiple devices licensing.
As this is a Microsoft offer, you should seek support via the Office 365 Community option – i.e. ask questions on the online forums – Office 365 Support
The Unitec IT Help Desk cannot provide support for this product other than assisting with logging in.
Upon leaving all eligible courses or graduation from Unitec the Office 365 subscriptions end:
most students the licensing will become inactive 190 days after class end date- if there are no other active or current enrolments.

Students wishing to continue using the MS Office suite independently should purchase or subscribe via other consumer or commercial business offers (often available through employer organisations).

Students with active enrolment can access Internet on campus either by logging into one of Unitec Computers or by connecting to student WiFi on personal devices. WiFi SSID for students’ use is ‘UNITEC-ELEARN’

Use the same password as My Portal and make sure the default browser in the phone doesn’t have any old passwords saved for these login credentials. If still unable to login, feel free to contact IT Helpdesk or visit Student Central
Yes, students have access to Konica multi-functional device printers, known simply as MFDs, located across both Mt Albert and Waitakere campuses. For more information click here
