Overview
The Food and Beverage Technician Training Scheme covers how to apply checking and inspection techniques and selecting the correct hand tools for a task while observing health and safety standards in a production plant.
It will provide you with an introduction to health and safety legislative requirements and their application in a food and beverage plant, enable you to select and use appropriate hand tools and introduce you to mechanical fasteners. You will learn to apply various checking and inspection techniques to determine machinery conditions.
Programme Highlights
The course is seven weeks in total, three weeks of the course will be spent with your lecturer at MIT Tech Park and DB Breweries, and the other four weeks will involve online learning. Time with your lecturer will be spent in interactive lectures and practical workshops.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible for admission to this Training Scheme, all applicants must be 16 years of age on the date of the commencement of the programme, or provide a completed Early Release Exemption form,
Applicants must be invited as employees of DB Breweries only.
