Aim: 
This course aims to develop skills in designing, and facilitating programmes in adapted physical activity. Course content explores the unique needs and abilities of active individuals within special population group such as physical and intellectual disability. The course focuses on the planning and implementation of effective adapted physical activity programmes.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Sport programme to enrol in this course. Pre-requisites: 3 Level 6 courses from any Unitec programme. Restriction: SPOR7424.
