Aim: 
This course aims to provide tauira with a broad theoretical and operational understanding and awareness of the moving image as a communication medium in contemporary society and culture setting and gain an ability to analyse and make use of selected media forms. Tauira will learn how contemporary media forms and practices influence communication.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the NZ Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 4) programme to enrol in this course.
