Aim: 
To provide the students with an understanding of three-phase power systems with an emphasis on generation and transmission systems.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Applied Technology programme to enrol in this course. Pre-requisite: APTE6607.
Topics include: 

New Zealand's power system, Overhead lines, Three-phase transformers, Large synchronous machines, Power flow.
