Aim: 
To enable students to develop a knowledge of road design, roading project evaluation and maintenance management.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Engineering Technology programme to enrol in this course. Pre-requisite: ENGG MG5012.
Topics include: 

1. Roading pavement formation.
2. Pavement surfacing.
3. Ancillary services for roading networks.
4. Road Maintenance.
5. Roading economics and funding.
6. Asset management.
7. Geometric design.
