Aim: 
To enable students to apply the principles & practice of foundation engineering in professional contexts.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Engineering Technology programme to enrol in this course. Pre-requisites: ENGGMG6012 or ENGGMG5107. Restriction: ENGGMG7006.
Topics include: 

1. Analysis and design of foundations.
2. Principles and practice of consolidation.
3. Stability of soil slopes.
4. Soil investigation reports.
