Aim: 
To enable students to develop an understanding of the biochemical interactions within our biosphere arising from natural and anthropogenic inputs.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Engineering Technology programme to enrol in this course. Restriction: ENGGMG5013.
Topics include: 

1. Ecosystems in our Biosphere.
2. Energy and nutrient cycles.
4. Statistical, sampling and data analysis.
5. Soil, air and water pollution.
3. Chemicals in the environment.
