Aim: 
To enable students and apply the principles of fluid mechanics to engineering hydraulic situations.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Engineering Technology programme to enrol in this course. Pre-requisite: ENGG MG5002.
Topics include: 

1. Principles of hydrostatics
2. Pipeline and open channel systems
3. Energy conversion for pumps and turbines.
4. Viscosity in fluid flows.
5. Measurement of Fluid Flow.
