Profile

Bill has taught Advanced Financial Accounting, Accounting for Business, Accounting Applications and Industry Based Learning courses on the BBus.  In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Bill led an active programme for marketing the school for almost a decade.

Disclosure of financial instruments with an emphasis on derivatives, was the focus of Bill's research interest.  He is especially interested in perception of risk by users and how well disclosed financial derivatives are by users.

In addition to teaching, research and study, Bill was external moderator for the NZDipBus paper 100 Accounting Principles. Bill is a member of the ICANZ's Accounting Technician College.

Bill has been on 7 teaching trips to Shan Dong University of Finance and Economics and is the SDUFE co-ordinator.
