Profile

Maureen came to Unitec in September 2010 on a 1 year contract and is now a permanant menber of staff,  having previously been a part time visiting lecturer here at Unitec between 2001 and 2004. Maureen has worked as a lecturer in ECE at NZ Tertiary College (2010) and a part time lecturer at the University of Auckland (2005 and 2009) as well as being a tutor and course writer for the Auckland Playcentres Association between 1987 and 2005. She was also a facilitator, regional and national director on the Combined Universities’ Professional Development contract with the Ministry of Education for the implementation of Kei tua o te Pae between 2005 and 2010.

Maureen is particularly interested in curriculum, assessment and mathematics as well as the use of ICT and Web 2.0 by centres and teacher education providers.
