In our first monograph for 2016, Unitec’s Head of Undergraduate in Te Miro Transdiciplinary Network, Lisa Maurice-Takerei, presents a whakapapa of technical, trade and vocational education. In doing so she explores the origins of a hybrid Vocational Education Training (VET) system in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
