Aim: 
To enable students to learn the principles and applications of industrial instrumentation and control techniques.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Engineering Technology programme to enrol in this course. Pre-requisites: ENGGMG5014 or ENGGMG5034.
Topics include: 

? Transmission of signals to industry standards.
? A range of measurement sensors and their principle of operation
? Measurement principles ? terminology & standards
? Introduction to control system principles and control system elements.
? Principles of feedback control systems
? Introduction to 3-term controllers
