Aim: 
To enable students to analytically examine the theoretical and practical aspects of vehicle electronic systems.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Applied Technology programme to enrol in this course. Restriction: TTEC5313.
Topics include: 

Appropriate selection from following topics
Principles and applications
Resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, binary numbers, logic gates, integrated circuits, electromagnetic compatibility.
Electronic controls
Automotive sensors designs, actuators, electronic control modules and networking technology.
Electronic circuitry
Electronic circuit development and construction and electromotive compatibility (EMC).
Diagnosis
Scan tools, oscilloscope, function generators, digital multi-meter (DMM), waveforms and signals.
