Getting to campus
There is a range of ways in which you can get to our campuses. You can choose to ride your bicycle in, walk-in, share a car ride, catch a train or a bus, or drive your car in as an option.
Select from the following list for more information on each:
Cycling and walking
Cycling or walking to campus is not only a sustainable transport option, you’ll also keep fit while doing it.
With a cycleway and walkway that links central Auckland to Henderson in West Auckland, it’s an easy and convenient route to either of our campuses. For walking routes and cycle track information, visit the Auckland Transport (AT) website.
We also have bike racks located across both campuses, please make sure to secure your bike while on campus.
Bike repair station
Did you know that we have a bike repair station located on Mt Albert campus, the corner of building 111? You can find tools to help with small repairs to your bike.
There are train stations within a short walk of both campuses.

Carpooling is a great way to share the cost of travel, and is a sustainable transport option.
If you looking for like-minded people to share a commute then register with Smart Travel NZ, a carpooling platform. Smart Travel makes it easy to arrange shared rides, visit their website for more information.
While we encourage sustainable transport, we understand that sometimes a car is the only option. For parking options on both our campuses, Mt Albert and Waitākere, visit our Parking page.
Campus shuttle bus
Our inter-campus shuttle service goes back and forward between our campuses, Mt Albert and Waitākere, and is free to all students. For more information, visit our Shuttle Bus page.
Public transport discount
If you purchase an AT HOP card, for public transport by Auckland Transport (AT), you’ll receive a discount on travel. Paying by cash is a lot more expensive.
