Aim: 
This course will provide students with an introduction to manufacturing techniques, processes, and material technologies. A strong understanding of mainstream and specialised manufacturing processes, and recent and future developments will be provided.Students will become familiar with a variety of production processes and materials relevant to product design and development, and explore specific sectors such as: Designing for material properties, and mass/volume production.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Creative Enterprise programme to enrol in this course.
