This course aims to introduce students to the basic principles and application of photography in graphic design through creative camera controls and techniques. Students will generate an understanding of the symbiotic relationship between the photographic image and other design skills and develop an understanding of digital practice through project design and outcomes. These projects will include the exploration of resolution, colour theory, scaling, editing and image analysis within a graphic design context.
