This course introduces students to the principles of packaging design and develops research, conceptual and implementation abilities. Students will use industry resources to enhance knowledge of technical, material and marketing information. This unit introduces the importance of an integrated approach to branding and visual communication as well as the various structural and production aspects of packaging design. The economic, environmental and sustainability material components of the package design project are also investigated.

Students must be admitted to the Bachelor of Creative Enterprise programme to enrol in this course.
