Aim: 
This course will introduce students to a range of construction and sustainable systems and materials. . Students will understand fundamental building services, construction detailing, sourcing materials, and using environmental rating systems and third party certification systems. They will understand methods for researching materials, construction technologies and documenting in compliance with New Zealand Building Codes, Standards and acceptable solutions.
