Develop the knowledge for employment and to function successfully in your community. This is a programme for adults and mature school leavers with learning difficulties or an intellectual disability.
Do you want to gain new skills? The Certificate in Employment Skills is designed for adults and mature school leavers with learning difficulties or an intellectual disability who want to gain new skills and move into employment.
You’ll gain the knowledge and skills for employment, and further your personal development. You also find out how to function successfully in your community. Build your confidence, self-awareness and self-esteem, and improve your literacy and numeracy skills. You also increase your knowledge and appreciation of New Zealand, its people and their heritage. Improve your communication and social skills to prepare yourself for working life, and develop computer skills.
