Aim:
To promote an understanding of the general principles of legislation as they apply to Animal Welfare. Explain the Animal Welfare Act 1999 as it applies to the compliance officers powers and the rights of the public. To develop competency in a range of generic and transferable skills necessary to being an Animal Welfare Investigator.
Prerequisites/Co-requisites:
Students must be admitted to the Certificate in Animal Welfare Investigations programme to enrol in this course. Students must enrol in both NSCI4010-SA & NSCI4010-SB to complete the course.
