A career in real estate is challenging and rewarding, and there are many opportunities for qualified real estate salespeople. The National Certificate in Real Estate (Salesperson) provides you with the knowledge, skills and requirements for entry into this exciting industry.

You'll complete sale and purchase agreements, and learn about the legal requirements involved with the sale of real estate. You'll also look at how to identify misleading and deceiving conduct and misrepresentation, and develop your negotiation skills.

The programme includes eleven unit standards structured into two courses. The first course (which consists of six unit standards) is designed to allow currently licensed Real Estate Salespersons to update their skills to adhere to the Real Estate Agents Act 2008. Together with the second course it also completes the education of students seeking licensure for the first time. New students need to complete both courses.

Students who have already gained the Real Estate Salesperson's Course can complete the relevant new unit standards only (without having to repeat material already learned). The upgrade course is only available to those students who have recently completed some of the unit standards in the Real Estate Salesperson's Course.
