From architecture and design to contemporary arts and computing, we’ll be celebrating – and showcasing – the creative work and achievements of this year’s stellar Unitec graduates at Grad Fest 2014.
Grad Fest launches with an Opening Night event on Thursday 27 November, with exhibitions, drinks and prize-givings at Unitec and an After Party at Carrington’s Pumphouse. An exhibition of student work will also run until 4 December at Unitec.

The Department of Architecture proudly presents work by students from the bachelors and masters programmes. Join us in the Fale courtyard for a prize-giving ceremony and the publication of a beautiful new edition of ‘Asylum’, the Department of Architecture’s annual printed publication of student work.

The Department of Landscape Architecture proudly presents work by students from the certificate, diploma, bachelors and masters programmes. Join us for a whānau room blessing from 5pm (Building 1, Level 1, Room 1028) followed by a prize-giving ceremony from 6.30pm (Building 1, Level 1, Room 1041). The event will also celebrate the launch of a new edition of our X-section journal ($10 on the night).
Design and Contemporary Arts

The Department of Design and Contemporary Arts proudly presents work by students graduating from the certificate, diploma, bachelors and masters programmes. Join us to celebrate our graduates’ achievements and enjoy a showcase of contemporary craft, graphic design and animation, interior design, photography and media arts, product and furniture, visual arts and more.
Accounting and Finance, Communication Studies, Computing, Management and Marketing
27 November, 5.45pm – 8.30pm at Building 76
The Departments of Accounting and Finance, Communication Studies, Computing, and Management and Marketing present ‘Future Sparks’, a celebration of student and graduate success in 2014. Hear keynote speaker Andrew Pirie – GM of Corporate Relations at Spark New Zealand – talk about brand transformation, and enjoy drinks and nibbles and a prize-giving recognising student achievement.
