Electrician Stage One and Two Practical Assessment ETECS178

Completion of this assessment only course is for those who require Stage One and Stage Two assessing.

Overview

This short course is for candidates who have been advised by the Electrical Workers’ Registration Board (EWRB) of their eligibility to be assessed for Stage One and Two Practical Skills.

It is designed to assess the practical skills gained either on the job or from previous training courses for electrical workers that want to meet the standards required by the EWRB in order to meet Stage One and Two practical requirements for New Zealand Registration.

Stage One course includes the Basic First Aid and CPR training

This is an assessment only course and no lecture direction will be given. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an assessment transcript of skills met towards the EWRB competencies required for electrical registration.

Pre-requisites
We require you to either:

  • Supply a confirmation letter from the Electrical Workers Registration Board that entitles you to complete Stages 1, 2 & 3 of the electricians practical assessment coursework; or
  • Hold a current EWRB trainee licence.

Minimum Enrolment Number
12 students
If the minimum number of students to be enrolled is not reached, then Unitec reserves the right to cancel the class. Should this occur, you will be notified ahead of closure. Before you make any travel or accomodation arrangements, please check that your course is running.
