Unitec Open Day 2026 Competition

  1. The Unitec Open Day Competition (Competition) runs from 9am to 1:59pm on 5 September, 2026 (Term).
  2. This Competition is administrated and run by Unitec.
  3. Entries that comply with these terms and conditions will go into the Prize Draw. By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 
  4. Participants can enter the Competition by attending Open Day, and check-in at the registration/check in desk at either Mt Albert campus or Waitākere campus.
  5. Only one entry per person will be counted.
  6. Entries received outside the Term will not be accepted.
  7. Three (3) winners will receive a prize. The first prize winner will receive an iPad Air 11 – inch, and the second prize winner will receive a pair of Beat Solo 4 Wireless On-Ear Headphone-Matte Black, and the third prize winner will receive a pair of Apple Airpods 4 True Wireless In-Ear Headphones (each a Prize). Each Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  8. The Competition draw will be conducted on 5 September, 2026 when three entries will be randomly drawn (Prize Draw). The persons whose names are picked will be contacted directly.
  9. Unitec may verify the validity of any entry into the Competition and may disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these terms and conditions.
  10. As a condition of accepting a Prize, the Prize winners agree that Unitec may publish their first name and town/city of residence on Unitec’s social media platforms and website, for the purpose of announcing the Competition results.
    If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of the Prize Draw, or declines the Prize, Unitec may redraw the Prize. The prizes will be delivered to the winners by tracked courier service. Unitec is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the Competition or any Prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
  11. Unitec will collect and hold personal information provided in relation to each Competition entry for the purposes of the Competition, conducting the Prize Draw and contacting winners. All such personal information will be held by Unitec in accordance with Unitec’s Privacy Notice. Participants have the right to request access to and correction of their personal information.
  12. All decisions of Unitec in relation to any aspect of the Competition are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. Unitec reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or terminate the Competition at any time at its sole discretion.
  14. An employee of Unitec or an immediate family member thereof cannot enter the Competition.
