Unitec Open Day 2025 Competition

  1. The Unitec Open Day Competition (Competition) runs from 9am to 1:59pm on 6 September, 2025 (Term).
  2. This Competition is administrated and run by Unitec (part of Te Pūkenga – New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology).
  3. Entries that comply with these terms and conditions will go into the Prize Draw. By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 
  4. Participants can enter the Competition by attending Open Day, and register using our check-in form at at the registration/check in desk at either Mt Albert campus or Waitakere campus.
  5. Only one entry per person will be counted.
  6. Entries received outside the Term will not be accepted.
  7. Three (3) winners will receive a prize. The first prize winner will receive an iPad Air 11 – inch, and the second prize winner will receive a pair of Sony WH-CH720N Wireless Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones, and the third prize winner will receive a pair of Sony WF-C710N True Wireless Noise Cancelling In-Ear Headphones (each a Prize). Each Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  8. The Competition draw will be conducted on 8 September, 2025 when three entries will be randomly drawn (Prize Draw). The persons whose names are picked will be contacted directly.
  9. Unitec shall have the right to assess the validity of any entry into the Competition. In the event that Unitec is not satisfied that the winner meets all the requirements of these terms and conditions, Unitec reserves the right at its sole discretion to redraw the winner immediately.
  10. The Prize winners agree to have their first name and town/city disclosed in a public announcement on Unitec’s social media platforms and website.
  11. The prizes will be delivered to the winners by tracked courier service. Unitec is not liable for any loss or damage once the prizes leave the Unitec premises.
  12. Unitec will collect and hold personal information provided in relation to each Competition entry for the purposes of the Competition. All such personal information will be held by Unitec in accordance with Unitec’s Privacy Policy. Participants have the right to request access to and correction of their personal information.
  13. All decisions of Unitec in relation to any aspect of the Competition are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. Unitec reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or terminate the Competition at any time at its sole discretion.
  15. An employee of Unitec or an immediate family member thereof cannot enter the Competition.
