Focus On English

A flexible full-time English language short course for international students.

Overview

Focus on English is a full-time short course delivered at our Mt. Albert campus and designed for international students, who are able to complete the course while on a visitor or student visa.

The course is shared with our New Zealand Certificate in English Language programmes, though Focus on English students complete this short course without being enrolled in a full 16-week programme.

Focus on English prepares students for a career in many different industries, or for study on certificate level programmes including Construction Trade Skills, Business and Electrical Engineering. Students will improve their reading, writing, speaking and listening English skills.

The course is very flexible, allowing students to choose how long they would like to study for, from between 2 and 12 weeks. Please note: Individual study periods must begin within the first 4 weeks of our four terms.
