Unitec’s Construction Management programmes give you the practical skills and industry knowledge needed to plan, coordinate, and deliver building projects. It’s great preparation for a career as a site manager, construction manager, project manager or draftsmen.
You’ll learn how to:

Industry-focused learning
When you study Construction Management, you’ll also gain a strong understanding of best practice across the industry. You’ll learn:
- Why quality management systems matter
- How to plan and allocate resources effectively
- Current construction legislation and compliance requirements
Our programmes reflect current industry trends and integrate Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC). You’ll learn the fundamentals of BIM and VDC and how to apply them in real construction management contexts.
