Screen Bites workshop
Unitec’s prestigious Screen Arts programme is giving you the chance to experience two days of hands-on filmmaking this September October school holiday
Wouldn’t you love a career in Auckland’s $1.5 billion dollar film and television production industry?
Unitec’s prestigious Screen Arts programme is giving you the chance to experience two days of hands-on filmmaking this school holiday! A practical workshop where you’ll learn to work professionally on-set, shoot with our high-end cameras and edit in our post-production suites. Then to top the experience off we’ll screen the final films in our on-campus Art House cinema.
This workshop is designed for a range of students, from those with no filmmaking experience to those that have given it a go already. You’ll be taught by industry professionals and get a chance to work alongside some current Unitec students so you can learn all about our intensive Bachelor’s degree programme that gets you ready for your dream job.
Because of the professional nature of this experience, it’s only open to Year 12 or Year 13 students.
Due to high demand our first workshop (27-28 September 2023) is now full, second workshop (3-4 October) now open for registrations
