Overview
This prestigious annual event, "Exploring Cutting-Edge Trends in Contemporary Accounting Research," brings together academia from five leading tertiary institutions in Auckland: Unitec, University of Auckland, Massey University, Manukau Institute of Technology, and AUT University. The conference aims to foster and promote accounting research in the region, providing a local forum for academics to present papers, receive feedback, network, and potentially initiate collaborative research projects.

Research paper submission and awards
Call for Papers:
The ARA Conference eagerly invites submissions from accounting scholars and postgraduate students within the Auckland region and beyond. We welcome research papers exploring a wide spectrum of accounting inquiry, encompassing qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Topics may include financial accounting and reporting, forensic accounting, taxation, management accounting, and auditing. ARA Call for Papers file (PDF, 124KB).
Best Paper Awards:
Two prizes will be awarded for the best papers, including one for the best postgraduate research paper. We strongly encourage postgraduate students to participate and submit their work.
Submission:
Please submit your paper by October 31, 2024. Paper acceptance notifications will be sent to authors by November 18, 2024. Access comprehensive information from the paper submission guidelines (PDF, 50KB).
