Hikoi Rangimarie (Peace Hikoi)
We invite staff and students to join in unity for our Hikoi Rangimarie (Peace Hikoi) in remembrance of the 2019 Christchurch Mosques attack (March 15th) on Monday, 16 March 2026.
As in previous years we would like to gather in the Student Events Kitchen area in Te Puna (B180) from 11am to make placards and signs which we will take with us on the hikoi.
At 12pm, we will then proceed to the Olive Tree in the centre of He Maumaharatanga (Unitec Memorial Grove at Entry/Gate 4) by the carpark next to Carrington Road for a short service of remembrance.
