The first principal scenario is the Laissez-faire scenario, which relies on market forces to determine the time frame for the uptake of hydrogen as a principal energy vector in the economy. In effect, it represents a \u201cNo policy\u201d scenario. The second principal scenario is the Interventionist scenario, which, although based on the Laissez-faire scenario incorporates policy interventions affecting the speed and depth of hydrogen uptake as a principal energy vector in the economy.<\/p>\n<p>This report is structured into two main parts. First, the model description lays out the assumptions underlying the analysis then the modelling results are presented.
