The Symposium welcomes talks and posters from the following categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Environmental conservation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biodiversity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Animal behaviour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Animal welfare<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Veterinary nursing and animal health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Human behaviour change in these spaces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Symposium is open to a range of researchers, including undergraduate and postgraduate students, new researchers, and established researchers. Invitation to present is open to any researcher, including from academic institutes, industry organisations, and independents. Attendance is also open to anyone interested in the research environment on the above topics within Aotearoa New Zealand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Symposium also includes a <strong>workshop on<\/strong> <strong>research opportunities within the vet nursing sector<\/strong>. Our teaching staff on the veterinary nursing programmes are research-active and are keen to collaborate with industry and address the questions you might have. This workshop aims to broadly discuss veterinary nursing research, its status in Aotearoa New Zealand, its future, potential research directions and ideas, and collaboration opportunities. We want to see industry and academia working together to help answer questions that drive the field forward. The workshop will be run both in-person and virtually and will be held towards the end of the Symposium (approx., mid-afternoon &#8211; exact time TBA once the programme is finalised).
