Aim: 
To introduce students to the importance of research and data collection in business and apply quantitative methods and statistical analysis to data.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Restriction: ALAF5401.
Topics include: 

Types, sources, qualities and amounts of data, sampling; data collection, visual presentation of data, numerical summaries, sampling variability, interval estimation, hypothesis testing, relationships (correlation and regression), changes over time (time series analysis and quality control).
