Aim: 
To introduce students to fundamental construction allied trades concepts, terminology, job role and tools and materials used when carrying out carpentry tasks.
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites: 
Students must be admitted to the New Zealand Certificate in Trade Skills programme to enrol in this course. Co-requisites: CIBC3911 and CIBC3512.
