This course aims to provide students with an understanding of Storyworlds and World-Building and their application within a transmedia context. Using the core concepts and motifs of transmedia world-building, students will review current transmedia practice and apply it to their own practice. Through a series of masterclass workshops, students will begin to explore the relationship of storyworlds to distribution channels as well as the importance of story drivers in creating a concept map.
