Some of the Microsoft Apps that you have access to via Office 365 also come as standalone Apps that can be installed on mobile devices such as tablets or smartphones. You then login to the app using your unitec email address as your account.

To see what is available for your device we recommend you login to your Office 365 account (www.office.com) via a browser on your mobile device and tap the Install Office Apps link. This will show whats available for your device and provide answers to frequently asked questions.

Using OneDrive on your Mobile Device:

BEFORE you download and attempt to use OneDrive on your mobile device you need to log in to Office 365 via a web browser and click on the OneDrive link in the top right hand corner of the page. You need to wait for it to finish initialising and setting up the OneDrive. Once you have completed this step you can install on your mobile device.

Using OneNote on your Mobile Device:

To sign into the OneNote app you download onto your mobile device you need to use a Microsoft account. If you dont have one then you can create a new one. It’s free. Once you have logged in with a Microsoft account, you can add your Office 365 account by going to Settings > Accounts > Add a service/Office 365 account.

You will need to enter your Office 365 credentials (Username: username@myunitec.ac.nz, Password: Unitec password) and sign in.
