We are excited to announce that Dr. Juncong (John) Yan has joined the Applied Molecular Solutions team as our new Research Associate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John joins us from the PHEL (Plant Health and Environment Laboratory) at the Ministry for Primary Industries where he worked for six years as a senior scientist in biosecurity. John has a PhD in Animal Science. His expertise are in molecular biology and bioinformatics with a focus on molecular diagnostics and bioinformatics for species identification. This includes areas such as entomology, bacteriology, mycology, and virology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
